Leaps and Bounds High Octane Camp.

Leaps & Bounds is like no other!  We keep the kids moving all over our 34,000 square foot facility.  Every week is a themed, non-stop, in and outdoor adventure.  From morning drop-off to evening pick-up, you’ll experience crafts, talent shows, water slides, sports instruction, science experiments, agricultural projects and more!

Who is working with your child

Ask any camper, Leaps & Bounds counselors are special people chosen for their compassion and love of children.  And they’re just fun!  The majority of camp staff are college-bound to college graduates.  All are deeply committed to the care and development of each and every camper.  We don’t cut corners in our training. Leaps & Bounds counselors are American Red Cross CPR and Standard First Aid certified and attend courses in Character Development and Leadership Training.

Times: Drop off time starts at  6:30 am and all campers must be picked up by 6 pm.

Ages: Our camp is designed for ages 5-13.  Your child MUST be 5 by the time they start camp.

Lunch & Snacks:  We have a Hot Lunch Meal that is provided through the Summer Feeding Program.    You may also send a bag lunch if you like.  Every child needs 1 snack and 1 drink each day.  We will provide an afternoon snack.  You may also put money in a concession account for your child and they can purchase a snack in the morniing instead of bringing it from home.

Swimming: Campers swim 2 times a week and our swim instructors will be life guarding our pool so you can rest assured your kids will be safe. Our pool is 4ft deep all the way around. If your child cannot swim, please notify us when you register.  If you would like to sign up for swimming lessons, please let us know.

What to wear: Campers should come prepared for an active day.  Your child must wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes.  We do a lot of running and flip flops, sandals, and slides are hazards.  No dresses please, as we are often going upside down!  Girls should have their hair in a ponytail.  If your child is not appropriately dressed, they may miss out on an activity for that day.

Your child will receive 1 camp t-shirt to wear on field trip day.  If you forget to send your child in their camp shirt on field trip day another one will be provided for you and your account will be billed for $15.

Groups: Our campers are divided into groups according to age and maturity. The Camp Director places the kids into groups and may move your child to another group to better suit your child’s needs.
