Why tumble with us?

Our tumbling program has classes for students beginning ages 5 & up.  We offer a special class for our 5-6 year olds, and have classes for 7 & up separated by skill level (beginner, intermediate and advanced).  All of these classes will teach proper, safe progressions for floor tumbling skills beginner through advanced.  Our Tumbling curriculum is based on the USAG Jr. Olympic Program as well as our 20+ years of experience teaching tumbling to children. The Tumbling curriculum is designed to provide a non-competitive, flexible program of life skills, conditioning and flexibility. These tumbling classes are perfect for an athlete wanting to focus strictly on floor and trampoline tumbling skills, but also are the perfect addition to any athlete's training practices.  Gymnasts, cheerleaders, ninja, and acro athletes would benefit from tumbling classes because they will include tumbling, flexibility and strength training.

At Leaps & Bounds we teach tumbling in a progressive manner, which means breaking down complex skills into smaller/individual mini skills to be mastered and put together to achieve harder and more complex skills.  Classes will utilize a variety of drills, stations and hands on spotting to keep athletes engaged and having fun while learning and gaining strong tumbling skills.  Athletes learning tumbling at Leaps & Bounds will learn strong technique and have confidence in all of their tumbling.
