Why camp with us?
Leaps & Bounds is like no other! We keep the kids moving all over our 34,000 square foot facility. Every week is a themed, non-stop, in and outdoor adventure. From morning drop-off to evening pick-up, your child will experience crafts, talent shows, water slides, sports instruction, science experiments, agricultural projects and more!
Program Details
Ages
Kindergarten – 7th grade. (Your child MUST be 5 by the time they start camp.)
Hours
WAKE UP SESSION (6:30-8:00 AM) – Gym Time
CAMP UNPLUGGED (8:00-4:00 PM) – New activity every 45 minutes! Counselors are selected based on their love of kids, being role models, and creating fun with your kids. Don’t pick up early or you will have an upset camper!
WIND-DOWN SESSION (4:00-6:00 PM) – Indoor/outdoor games, movies & fun
Lunch & Snacks
Campers bring lunch and 2 snacks each day. Lunch can not be heated up. Snacks can be brought or purchased and put in lunch box in the morning from our cafe’.
What to Bring Each Day
Swimsuit & towel every day
Lunch and a Snack
Comfortable clothes for active camp events
Shoes appropriate for running, jumping, hiking – no open toe shoes
Water bottle (labeled with name)
An extra change of clothes
Put your child’s name on everything.
Groups
Our campers are divided into groups according to age and maturity. The Camp Director places the kids into groups and may move your child to another group to better suit your child’s needs.
How to Register
- Download and complete the 2024 Handbook and Registration form, using the button at the top of this page.
- Once completed, return the form to us via email ([email protected]), fax (225-667-6620), or by dropping it off in person at our front desk.
NOTE: Weekly fees will be drafted the Thursday before each week. Field Trips are subject to change.

SIBLING DISCOUNT: $10 OFF EACH WEEK

Kim Green - Summer Camp Director
Kim has been working with children for over 25 years. She has been employed as our Aftercare and Summer Camp Director for over 7 years. She is always looking for new and exciting things for the children to learn and play. The safety and well being of the children are always her first priority.
